We enjoyed Mary’s Market so much last time, we asked to go back, so this Saturday the 27th of Feb wurld is back selling world changing water to all the bargain hunters again. The weather is looking a bit better than last time too! And lastly, here’s a Facebook event to share around your friends while you’re planning the weekend.

Mary’s Market has everything from the softest merino baby clothes, to streetwear for kids and exclusive home wares and bedding are all on show plus the opportunity to speak directly with suppliers about their product. The market will be at 52 Hepburn Street in the Freemans Bay Community Hall from 9am till 1pm.

Hot on the heels of The Auckland Polo Club’s fundraising day in support of the Clevedon Volunteer Fire Brigade, comes the BMW NZ Polo Open this Sunday the 21st from 11am.

The BMW NZ Polo Open is the premier high goal tournament on the NZ polo calendar. The tournament is a great opportunity for local players to play with and against some of the best players in NZ and overseas. You will also witness some of the finest athletes NZ can produce in the form of the polo ponies.

wurld water will be there selling our world changing water to event goers.

Here is also the Facebook event to share with friends.

Today is Feb 5th, the 5th of the month means we do something in our community, small or large, we just do something, so wurld headed down to a local blood drive in Glenfield. This is something most of us can do, take an hour out of your day and help save up to 3 lives every time you give blood.

Visit the NZ Blood Service to see where the permanent donation centres are located or where the few mobile ones are going to be, there’s no hiding!

We at wurld think our people are pretty special, and when one of them has some success we like to highlight that!

One of our trustees, Mike, runs a fund management company, Pie Funds. In 2009 Mike’s fund was the top performing Australasian Equity Fund as ranked by Morningstar and Fundsource!

The fund returned over 100%, meaning you would’ve doubled your money had you invested with the fund at the start of the year. Now Mike would be the first to say that “past returns are not a guarantee of future returns”, but I think we can all agree that is a great performance.

Visit his website Pie Funds and have a read of a recent Sunday Star Times article to learn more about what Mike does.
