There are loads of good causes and great people out there, so here are some of our favourite NZ charities and fantastic supporters, doing great things in the world of water, and beyond…

With his fantastic design talents, Paul Smith has taken wurld from an idea into a fully fledged brand. Thanks so much for your help!Our first sponsored project was through Averill Strasser and Erica Wales at Appropriate Projects, who find small but critical water projects to support.Cheers Rachel for a site that looks great, works well, and was up and running in a matter of weeks! Darren Lochead offered us great advice when we were developing wurld. RBG is has been spreading the word in NZ for over 40 years and does it all by donation! So why not support them? Darren Frazer at Micah Clothing sells cool Fairtrade t-shirts and other clothing to support producers in the developing world. Check it out… Buying barcodes? Until wurld we never knew you had to! So we talked to David Allis at Barcodes NZ...Project 7 are best in class in social brands, they provided us with the model for Day 5, volunteering was something we always wanted to do, Project 7 showed us how.Good guy Grant from Good Water let us use his brilliant idea, his 100% biodegradable bottle for wurld water. Sarah Flint from the Frank water brand in the UK also supports water projects worldwide, and Sarah provided a lot of tips on starting out. Intrepid Travel have set up this site to help volunteers connect, share ideas, and even enter their Volunteers Challenge to win a $5,000 volunteering holiday. Nice. Giving’s not just about money – Donate NZ lets you sign up to give goods, time, or a discount at your business to community organisations you choose. Thanks to Beth Harper and Sheena Duffy for talking us through their work, and being so positive and supportive about our wurld idea. Thanks to our good friend and brother-in-law Barry, who inspired us, and many others, to do something worth living for. Friend and business entrepreneur Mary-Rose, has given us loads of great advice… and a top location for our photo shoot, in her lounge!
