Access to clean, fresh water. It’s a pretty basic human right, isn’t it?
For us it’s pretty easy to turn on a tap. But around the world there are loads of people who aren’t so lucky, who can’t even take a sip without fear of disease, rationing to the last drop.
And it’s so simple to fix. All it takes is opening a bottle. Here at wurld water 100% of our profits go straight to local water projects in communities around the world, to help them get up and running.
And you know what? A little bit of water can make a big difference.
- education… kids can think about more than just survival.
- equality… when fresh water flows, women don’t have to spend all their time fetching dirty water – they can learn, work, earn…
- health… simply washing in clean water can be life-changing.
- medicine… it works much better when patients don’t have to fight off water-borne disease during treatment.
- industry… when you’re fed and watered, you can be much more productive (funny that). Plus, water plays a big part in helping sustain agricultural projects too.
- jobs… water projects need workers to get things running smoothly.
Water is the first thing we’re focusing on, as it’s something we feel we can make a BIG difference to.
