We at wurld think our people are pretty special, and when one of them has some success we like to highlight that!

One of our trustees, Mike, runs a fund management company, Pie Funds. In 2009 Mike’s fund was the top performing Australasian Equity Fund as ranked by Morningstar and Fundsource!

The fund returned over 100%, meaning you would’ve doubled your money had you invested with the fund at the start of the year. Now Mike would be the first to say that “past returns are not a guarantee of future returns”, but I think we can all agree that is a great performance.

Visit his website Pie Funds and have a read of a recent Sunday Star Times article to learn more about what Mike does.

The NZ Herald has written a profile on Carley, owner of ‘The Burger Shack’. Carley is a proud stockist of wurld water on Great Barrier Island! So we at wurld can now say we are stocked overseas!

If you do head over to Great Barrier Island this summer, be sure to drop in (she’s near Claris airfield, just ask someone, they’ll know), buy a burger and get some world changing water.

And if you too would like to stock wurld water then here’s some ways to get in touch with us.

We chatted about wurld water of course, amongst a whole lot of other stuff like social media, marketing and both our backgrounds. It’s great meeting new people with different backgrounds like Ben, and also Jason Armishaw who I met on Thursday.

Ben’s just posted a blog entry about wurld water. So check it out, while you’re there sign up to his newsletter and have a look at his book, available here.

Ben also has a regular radio slot on Kiwi FM, on the Radio Wammo show. Watch the YouTube video below to hear what they thought about wurld water. The main thing for us is using the profit that bottled water generates for something better than just fattening shareholder’s pockets.
